The Safari Helicopter
The Safari helicopter has evolved to be a dependable and rugged helicopter.
With a certified aircraft engine in either 160hp or 180hp and with a TBO
of 2000 hours and 1000 hours upwards on all other major components, the Safari
will give you many hours of enjoyable flying and less time in the
workshop.
The open frame work type construction lets you make easy
preflight and maintenance checks and the chrome moly 4130 tube takes the
knocks of a working day.
The solid construction of the composite main
rotor blades and stainless steel tail rotor blades and an extensive amount
of Titanium in the main rotor shafts and rotor spindle and tail rotor
shafts give you that assurance that you will get to where you are going
and back again.
With your maintenance costs around $30 per hour and no
belts or chains to worry about it makes it an economical machine on the
pocket.
